Its midnight and I am lost in emotions,
I’ve been sharing silence with you for the hundredth time, and my heart has won the battle against my mind once again, it says I can be in love with you.
I love you even in those little moments when you’re not around to hold me warm in your words and voice. So I share these silent moments with you, and it’s as good as resting my head on your shoulders listening to our heartbeats sync together.
I miss you a little too much on certain days, thinking of how life allowed us very little time, and if I’m not holding you closer to me, if my lips ain’t on yours, if your arms aren’t around me, then how do I get this time back.
So I sigh a thousand times when I miss you, and I know these words I write would never be able to hold all my love for you. Yet, there is never a moment that goes without having you keep my heart centred, you calm the roaring waves for me.
So I share silence with you, it’s as good as knowing you’re with me all the time, even on days when we don’t converse. And that helps me go on, one day at a time.
